Our favorite sushi and yakitori restaurant where we can order without reading the menu. Highly recommend toro sushi for true sushi lovers! Little tips: sit at the bar to talk with the chef and learn more about Japanese cuisine. The chef told me he had been working there for thirty years!

A good neighborhood sushi bar with reasonable pricing. Very limited drink menu but polite efficient service. This is a fairly large place so seating is not hard to find.

Refined and delicious. The fried tofu and pickled vegetables were particularly good. Very cosy place and nice staff. Will come back.

I used to go to Toritcho since the late 90s. A lot seems to have changed. This is probably the smallest pieces of sashimi I have been served in this Japanese restaurant. The diversity of the most expensive sashimi 24 pieces is a joke. I use to order the tirachi take which is the sale Price but more varied The sashimi obly had tuna, Salomon, two pièces of scalops....no maquerel, no Octopus, no cuttlefish. Really disapointed. The service is faster than before But i asked the waitress one uni sushi ( she replied they dont have anymore ) which I decided to order something else. Near the end of our dinner. One table besides of two Asian people (Chinese by their language ) ordered some uni which she replied. " alright ". Was it because we weren't Asian? This is probably the last time i will come to Toritcho. There are better places which seems to treat guests with care and where you will have what you come for for your money and value also.

Friendly staff, fish with great taste. Though it is true they took the soy sauce and chopsticks a bit too fast cause we hadn't finished our meal.

Toritcho transports you straight to Japan from Paris with its authentic izakaya experience. This laid-back, richly-decorated spot is an escape to another world, serving up diverse yakitori, pristine sushi, and homely tempura. Add to this the delight of unique traditional dishes, this place may not promise haute cuisine, but delivers on pure flavor. Frequented by both Parisians and Japanese alike, it's a bustling weekend spot with unbeatable prices.

Having lived in Japan, I can state this is very authentic sushi restaurant (sushi-ya). High quality. However please note: the sushi is prepared to order; so especially soon after opening time you can expect to wait a while. Also good sushi can't be cheap or served in big portions at a low price. Nevertheless, Toritcho is good value given the high quality of their sushi offerings.
